Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, that the
Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic on the following length of road, A51 Littleton to Tarvin to enable road works to be carried out by Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council.

Temporary 30mph speed limit will be in force on the following lengths of road.

A51 Tarvin Road/Holme Street, Littleton to Tarvin – from its junction with A55 to its junction with A54 Holme Street, a distance of approximately 4538 metres.

A51 Tarvin By-Pass, Tarvin – from its junction with A54 Holme Street for a distance of approximately 300 metres in a south-easterly direction.

A54 Holme Street, Tarvin – from its junction with A51 Holme Street for a distance of approximately 200 metres in a north-easterly direction.

Barrow Lane, Barrow – from its junction with A51 Tarvin Road for a distance of approximately 110 meters in a northerly direction.

Hare Lane, Guilden Sutton – from its junction with A51 Tarvin Road for a distance of approximately 200 meters in a northerly direction.

The Order will come into force on 3rd August 2020 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen
months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is
anticipated that the works will take approximately fifty two weeks to complete.
