Afternoon Tea in Tarvin 18th October – Supporting Hospice of the Good ShepherdThis October, I’m inviting friends, neighbours, and the wider community to come together for a special fundraising event in support of a cause that means a great deal to me: the Hospice of the Good Shepherd in Chester.

Why this matters to me
The hospice cared for my dad, George Booth, in his final days and gave incredible support to my mum, my brother, and me at a very difficult time. Their kindness, compassion, and dedication will always stay with me, and this fundraiser is my way of giving something back to help ensure other families can receive the same care.

The fundraising challenge
Through my business, Business Deva, I’ve signed up for the Hospice’s £50 Corporate Challenge, whereby they’ve given me £50 and I have to make it grow! To do that, I’m hosting a Charity Afternoon Tea right here in Tarvin.

Event details
Saturday 18th October, 1–4pm
Tarvin Community Centre

Join us for an afternoon filled with:

  • Afternoon tea with cakes, teas and coffees
  • Community bar serving soft drinks and alcoholic refreshments
  • Local business and craft stalls
  • Cake competition (with entries sold afterwards by the slice)

It promises to be a lovely afternoon to enjoy good company while raising money for a vital local cause.
