An Afternoon Tea to Remember

Some members of Ashton Hayes & Tarvin Flower Club seen here enjoying two of their pleasures in life, flower arranging and afternoon tea. The occasion was the Cheshire Area of National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies "Sapphire Afternoon Tea" event held in the Pavilion at the Chester Race Course on Monday 21st March. To accompany the afternoon tea there was a flower arranging demonstration by Julia Knights, entitled "Hello Broadway."

Ed: The National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies was formed in 1959. In 1984 NAFAS was granted charitable status in recognition of its education activities and, with over 65,000 members, it ranks among the most notable specialised National Associations.
