As well as the lovey walk in Grogan's Walk, there are many great walking routes around Tarvin

Look out for Routes such as:

1 To Walk Mill Via the Packhorse Bridges at Hockenhull Platts (image)
2 To Barrow or the BlueBell Cafe at Barrowmore
3 To Waverton or Christleton Via Hockenhull Platts (Nice pub on the way)
4 Tarvin Village Fields Via St Andrews Church Yard and Cinder track
5 A Historical Walk using the TARVIN TRAIL
6 Walks to Kelsall (Beware -some of the routes to Kelsall are a little overgrown so do wear stout shoes or wells and a pair of secateurs might be handy!)
7 Longer Walks to Delamere via Ashton Hayes or Utkinton for those who like a bit more of a challenge.

Sadly, in 2021, the links to the walking routes on this page were taken down by the organisation which owned the walking website. We asked the organisation that owned the site for the information but unfortunately it had been deleted.

There are lots of lovely walking routes around Tarvin. We are currently looking for a walk compiler who could write up the walks with instructions and points of interest with some photos which we could then publish on our site permanently rather than relying on a website being available.

If you love walking and have a smart phone on which you could record a walk as you do it and take photos, you could be that person! Please Email us on Editor@TarvinOnline.org

Thank you
