Join the Lower Voices!

Enjoy singing? Like having fun and seeing friendly faces? Our community choir is looking for tenors and basses to strengthen our sound, support the ladies’ soprano and alto sections and welcome some new voices.

What we offer:
• A relaxed, supportive atmosphere – no auditions
• A chance to sing a wide range of music (pop, classical, sea shanties, folk, and more)
• Weekly rehearsals with Martin our fun, encouraging and talented musical director
• Performances in the local community

Who we are looking for:
• Tenors and basses (complete beginners or experienced singers)
• People of any age who enjoy being part of a friendly group

Practical details:
• Rehearsals: Monday evenings 7.30–9.30pm during term time (including tea/coffee/biscuit break)
• Venue: Ashton and Mouldsworth Village Hall (opposite the church in Ashton Hayes)
• First rehearsal free – come and try us out! No pressure to continue if you decide it is not for you.
Approximate cost £4.50 per week after your first rehearsal.
