Recently, a Tarvin resident had a door to door salesman offering to clean their drive for £250, as he was doing a neighbour's drive.
The resident declined, but the salesman was very pushy, wouldn't back down. Eventually, he asked to borrow their hose and their water to finish the neighbour's drive, as his hose was faulty. They agreed to this, but unfortunately didn't stay with him.
They later found that he had left his 'faulty' hose, a very old and tatty one, and had stolen our newer hose.
Not reported to police as not a valuable item, but thought this might serve as a warning to other Tarvin residents.
