We received this from a reader of TOL:-
"I often walk my dog round the many public footpaths in Tarvin at the weekends and am quite disheartened by how many have barbed wire or are in such a bad state that it is impossible to get a dog through or over them. One of the worst is the one that leads from the bypass through the fields near Austin's hill . I know a lot of farmers don't like dog walkers on their land but it really is quite annoying when we have a springer spaniel and have to turn back as we can't get him over or through the styles .
That said I still enjoy bringing my dog to Tarvin for walks .
Just wanted to share our experience so others are aware "
