TOL have been informed by Cheshire life's "Girl about Cheshire" that the popular magazine will be featuring our lovely village of Tarvin in the November issue. She got in touch with Tarvin Online, looking for someone to ask the obvious question for a feature on the village: "What's so good about living in Tarvin?"
Well in the 150-200 words she had for the article, we couldn't fit everything in but we hope she will be able to give readers of Cheshire Life Magazine a flavour of the village we chose to live in or grew up in. We were able to give her the low-down on all the wonderful community events, annual, monthly and weekly that go on in Tarvin and it struck me how very lucky I am to live here. As one resident perfectly put it: "Tarvin is large enough to have all the amenities one would hope for in a village but small enough to have a real sense of Community."
The activities going on at the Methodist Chapel, St Andrews Church and the Community Centre; Having a great primary school; sporting clubs like the Football club, tennis and bowls club are just a few of the reasons why we love our village, but for me, Tarvin Woodlands is our jewel in the crown. Especially over the lock down, having such a lovely place to go for a jog or a walk or simply to listen to the birds is a huge privilege which I will never take for granted.
If you want to reserve a copy of the magazine, Krishanthi and Suresh could reserve you one at Tarvin News and Post office
