Cheshire Police Alert for Tarvin/Kelsall

We have had a number of incidents during December where Deer have been roaming the A51 and near misses with motorists. To date we have not located Deer or identified who may own deer in the area. If you have any information please let us know. If you own land in the area which is used for horses or other livestock we would like to speak to you to record some contact information particularly if your boundaries are near to the A51 and A54. We have had a number of burglaries reported this month in the following locations;
Kelsall: – Hallows Drive, Pasture Close, Dutton's Lane, Carter Avenue.
Tarvin: – Shay lane, The Ridgeway, Deans Way.
Duddon: – Back Lane,
Ashton Heyes: – Brookside.
The offender on most occasions has forced the side / rear UPVC door or windows to gain entry during the afternoon period. Our PCSOs have delivered leaflets in the affected areas regarding this matter and our CID team are continuing to make attempts to identify the offender for these crimes. If you hear anything or see anyone out of place i.e. walking up peoples drives or acting suspiciously regardless of the time please contact us straight away

Tarvin: – During December we took reports of ASB on King George V playing fields in Tarvin and officers have been giving the location increased attention to deter problems.
01/12/2013 police attended a road traffic collision on Chester Road Kelsall where a Honda Civic collided with a BMW x5, the driver of the Civic made off from the scene but has since been identified and is being investigated for motoring offences.
01/12/2013 a male was arrested for drink driving on Chester road Kelsall.
03/12/2013 a vehicle was seized for no insurance off a driver passing through Duddon.
06/12/2013 a male was arrested on Quarry Lane, Kelsall for drink driving.
13/12/2013 a vehicle was seized for no insurance off a driver passing through Tarvin.
16/12/2013 an unattended vehicle was issued with a fixed penalty notice of £30 for obstructing the pavement by parking on the pavement on the A51 in Duddon.
Police have dealt with a number of complaints of parking issues in the Duddon Common area where builder's vehicles have been blocking the road.
Please report any similar incidents via telephone 101 so that a suitable resource can be deployed whilst the vehicles are in-situ.
Kelsall: – CID are investigating an aggravated burglary at the Lord Binning which occurred on 16/12/2013. If you have any information regarding this crime please contact us.
06/12/2013 A vehicle on Hallows Close had damage caused to its wipers and then a few days later the crime was repeated which was captured on CCTV. Inquiries are ongoing.
07/12/2013 a vehicle from another property on Hallows Close had its rear number plate snapped off, it is not clear if this happened at Hallows Close or elsewhere.
Our milk bottle thieves have returned to Kelsall, we have had a couple of reports of milk being taken off the steps of houses on Hallows Close and Hallows Drive.
