We set up a workshop within the community centre which was kindly funded by Ted Lush. This was a similar set up to the Safety Bus, but we were able to offer workshops with the space and were pleased to have residents visit us. Again, Age Concern joined us in partnership.
Two PCSOs went out on foot patrol mainly in the woodlands where engagement was welcomed by lots of dog walkers, we also completed a search to bring awareness to the national knife crime operation Sceptre. Many informed us that they were aware of the initiative via Tarvin Online advertising it.
Two PCSOs attended Tarvin Primary which proved very popular and we have been asked to come back and deliver more input.
Two Police Officers were deployed to Church Street in the 40MPH area where a number of speeders were stopped and dealt with, the fastest was 47MPH.
Licencing visits took place around the area too.
TarvinOnline is powered by our active community.
