Tarvin Refurbishment Wins Civic Award

Each year, the Chester Civic Trust's 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' awards recognise developments in the Chester district which encourage high standards in the built environment.

The recent refurbishment of The Flaggs and Hamilton House on Church Street has been presented with a 2024 'Good Award'.

The nomination quoted that the scheme "has been very positive and has largely preserved features of significance in both properties. The two houses form an important part of the wider conservation area's character and appearance".
