A Plan for Christmas

We are all in the hands of others as we try and plan for Christmas this year -- it is a time when we cannot do all the things we have done in the past and in Church it is just the same. We are unable to meet in the same numbers and our services, where we are able to have them, will be very different. We will be using our Facebook page and Website to keep people up-to-date. If you would like to join our weekly mailing which has up-to-date information and also a service sheet which can be printed and used at home, please email me on tarvinparish@gmail.com.
There is a weekly service online every Sunday at 10.15 am and this can be viewed at any time after 10.15 am. It is also available on our YouTube channel (access is through our website www.tarvinparishco.uk . We also put out Sunday Service recording onto a phone-in service -- to access this call 01829 708989. Calls are charged at your normal rate for a local call.

We are planning to hold our Christingle Service in a Virtual Format (via Facebook) at 4.30 pm on Christmas Eve. It will also be available to view on our YouTube channel. We will not be holding a Service later in the evening on Christmas Eve this year. Christmas Day Services will be held at 8.00 am and 10.00 am at St Andrew's and 9.00 am at St Peter's. These will be Communion Services with communion offered in one kind (bread only).
On Sunday, 27 December, there will be no services at either St Andrew's or St Peter's and the Churches will not be open for private prayer on that day.

The Christmas Carol Service has long been a tradition at St Andrew's Church, and more recently at St Peter's. This year we are planning to hold the Carol Service on Sunday, 20 December, at 6.30 pm at St Andrew's. To book a place at the Carol Service please call me, Adam, on 01829 740354 and leave a message (if not answered), stating how many tickets you would like and if you are able to sit together as one household or not. The same information can be sent by text to 07984 003665 or emailed to tarvinparish@gmail.com if preferred. I will confirm that I have received your request and will let you know the outcome.

If anyone wishes to come into either St Andrew's or St Peter's Churches for private prayer please get in touch with me and this can be arranged.
