Classes Restarting

The Community Centre is delighted to announce that regular Slimming World Classes are starting again from Wednesday 12th August. For details of the classes please contact Katie on 07804 215145 as there will be significant changes to the previous sessions.

Sue Hardacre says "Slimming World, as an national organisation, has spent time devising a system that will allow for the safe resumption of classes. We are more than satisfied that their guidance, together with the elements that we have put in place, will mean that the risks will be reduced to a minimum. We are delighted to have them back on a regular basis."

The importance of a healthy weight has taken on a greater significance during the epidemic as too much weight has been identified as an extra risk factor. There is now a national government strategy to encourage healthy eating and greater personal mobility and Slimming World has a part to play in this.

Please note that all visitors to the Community Centre are now required to wear suitable face coverings unless they are under 11 or have significant health/hearing issues.
