Thanks to the army of fantastic volunteers who took part in the Tarvin Community clean-up day last Saturday, 28th March. A huge amount of litter was removed from Pavements hedgerows, and other public spaces, making Tarvin look even more fabulous than usual.
“There was a brilliant response from Tarvin residents, with about 25 people volunteering, including many children. The large turnout and all the hard work enabled most streets in the village to be picked; in addition, Cross Lanes (Waverton side), the A54, and the A51 were also tackled. Thank you.
Ted Lush, on behalf of Tarvin Parish Council, who organised the clear-up.”
Ed: You may notice around the village that some refuse bags have been left by each of the council Waste bins. These are the result of all the volunteers' hard work and will be removed in the coming days when the bins are emptied.
