Connect to Work

Connecting people to work across Cheshire and Warrington

An exciting new employment support program has just become available across Cheshire and Warrington to help people overcome barriers to work and move into paid, meaningful employment.

Connect to Work is delivered by Cheshire West and Chester Council, Cheshire East Council and Warrington Borough Council, with funding from the Department for Work and Pensions.

The program offers personalised, one-to-one support tailored to individual needs, connecting people with the right jobs, training and in-work support to help them find work and stay in work.

Support is free of charge and designed around each person s goals and circumstances.

Connect to Work supports adults who:

• Are out of work or at risk of leaving work
• Have a health condition or disability including autism and learning disability.
• Face complex or multiple barriers to employment
• Want support to move towards sustainable paid employment

Connect to Work works closely with local employers to support inclusive recruitment and retention, working with employers as partners supporting both the individual and the business.
