The Cheshire Road Safety Group has launched a new campaign aimed at improving the safety of young motorcyclists on the borough's roads.
The initiative is designed to encourage safer riding habits among young riders by promoting awareness of the risks involved and helping them make smarter decisions on the road. Key messages include the importance of staying visible to other road users, wearing proper protective gear, and understanding the real-world consequences of reckless riding.
With the summer months being a particularly popular time for motorcycling, the campaign will run throughout the peak riding season. It will feature a series of in-person events and engagement activities to connect directly with young riders and offer practical advice and support.
The council has voiced its strong support for the campaign, recognising the importance of proactive education in reducing motorcycle-related incidents and promoting road safety across the community.
