We're almost at the end of October which means the annual Craft Fair at Tarvin Methodist Church will shortly be with us. The date to put in your diary is Saturday, 4th November from 10am to 3.00pm. As always, there is FREE ADMISSION to the fair so please come along and see the seventeen stalls brimming with beautiful hand crafted items and pick up some unique Christmas presents!
This year we have several newcomers amongst the stall holders, but whether they have been before or not, there are always plenty of new ideas and designs on all the stalls. To give you a flavour of what to expect we have silk, woollen and felt accessories including contemporary jewellery. General handicrafts, and for babies and young children there are quilted items such as play mats, dresses, quilts and toys. The hand crafted cards for all occasions are always very popular as are the Christmas decorations made from a variety of materials including wood, wire and fabric. For the home there are interesting sculptures crafted from reclaimed materials, plaster, willow, wood and fused glass. The fair wouldn't be complete without visiting the produce stall selling baked goods, jams and pickles and partaking of the famous Bacon Baps. This year we're also offering Turkey and Stuffing Baps around lunchtime!

Three charities will be represented at the fair: The Hospice of the Good Shepherd, The George Heath Foundation and Men in Sheds which is a project run by Age UK. Please come and support these charities to enable them to continue the marvellous work they do.
We look forward to seeing you on 4th November!
