Dave Burton entertained a near full house on Wednesday 25th September singing and playing acoustic versions of a wide range of popular songs from the last 50 years including hits by Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Gerry Rafferty, Oasis, Paul Weller, Bon Iver, and many others. There is even a jazz/folk element in his repertoire on numbers by Bert Jansch, John Renbourn and Davy Graham.
Dave Burton is definitely a gifted guitarist equally adept at either finger-picking or strumming to create perfect interpretations of the original songs, and with a voice reminiscent of Paul Weller, Dave is definitely a talented musician, much appreciated by the Gunnery audience on Wednesday night, let's hope he is back soon.
