After two years of cancellation, it is wonderful to welcome back our special fundraising week which this year runs from Sunday 15th to the Saturday 21st of this month.

The familiar red envelopes will be dropping through letterboxes in the village and we will come and collect those (Don't forget gift aid if you're a taxpayer) but there are other ways you can help as well.

Wednesday 18th May -St Andrews: Big Breakkie Event- 10:00 to 11:30 am.
On the menu will be bacon baps, hot buttered toast and other breakfast favourites. Please join us to meet up with friends and neighbours, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some yummy food.

Wednesday 18th May – Tarvin Methodist Church: Christian Aid week Quiz – 6:45 pm
Christian Aid week in Tarvin wouldn't be the same without the Quizhosted by Tarvin Methodist Church. . Test your knowledge across a range of subjects with questions which are never very difficult and, in the interval, you can enjoy a sweet treat and a refreshing cup of tea or coffee.

Saturday 21 May – Tarvin Methodist Church – Coffee Morning – 10am -12pm
This year we will mark the end of Christian Aid week with a traditional Coffee Morning at the Methodist Chapel in the High Street. All are welcome so, while you are doing your weekend shopping, why not rest your feet and enjoy a nice cuppa in good company.

We are all aware of the plight of people in Ukraine but there are also many other people around the world who desperately need our help and Christian Aid is there to help and transform lives. Please give whatever you can. Every little helps to alleviate hunger and make lives better.
