Our Police Community Support Officer, James Hannath, has identified the scheme'Looking Forward'in Tarvin and once a month he has been running Looking Forward sessions with vulnerable people in the community.

The scheme works with staff and service users, offering ways to engage and educate members about how the police work and also helping to build a trusted approachability that is fun for vulnerable people in the community.

Looking forward have some people with a learning disability and others may also have other physical or emotional conditions. This could affect the kind of support they and their families need in their day-to-day life.

The sessions have all been well received and have included:
* Fingerprint ID,
* Best poster for road safety,
* Police interviews based on scenarios,
* Going for a blues and twos drive around the car park,
* Police fitness test and much more.

Team member Ben Fell said...
