DRIVING LICENCE RENEWAL
If you are over 70 your driving licence has to renewed every 3 years. It seems reminders are not being sent and although there is a grace period because of COVID our advice is to check your licence now and if it is out of date apply immediately.
Under 70's have to renew their licence every 10 years... don't get caught out.
If for any reason you cannot renew online you will need to request a form from DVLA, return it completed together with an up to date photograph, your old licence and cheque payment. There has been some industrial action at the DVLA which is slowing up this manual process, so once again we recommend immediate action. We hope you find this information helpful.
