Father Christmas Tarporley Rotary 2016

Once again Father Christmas and his sleigh will be coming to Tarvin with his helpers from Tarvin Rotary Club, also supported by Tarvin Scouts. He will be starting from the George and Dragon at 5.30 pm on each night and will be visiting Saxon Heath and South Tarvin on Tuesday 10th December and the High Street and North Tarvin on Wednesday 11th December.

As a result of the generous donations by Tarvin residents last year Tarporley Rotary Club were able to donate £500 towards a new mess tent for Tarvin Scouts, as well as supporting other local charities such as Tarporley Cottage Hospital and Save the Family. Please support us and give generously again.

Tarporley Rotary Club meet each week at Willington Hall and organise events throughout the year, raising about £25,000 for charity. We also conduct mock interviews each year at Tarporley High School to give students some real life experience of attending job interviews. This year we interviewed over 200 year 11 students.

If you would like to learn more about Rotary please email Mike Lloyd, contact@tarporleyrotary.org.uk. You can also follow us @tarporleyrotary on Facebook and Twitter."
