Residents of Cheshire West and Chester are being informed about financial support available for households at risk of fuel poverty.

The Heating Bank initiative, facilitated by Citizens Advice Cheshire West and funded through Cheshire West and Chester Council's Household Support Fund, offers urgent assistance to those struggling with energy costs.

The programme provides pre-payment meter vouchers or a pre-paid utilities digital mastercard to help families stay warm during colder months.
In addition to financial aid, practical support is also offered to ensure homes remain safe and comfortable.

It is important for those in need to be aware of this resource, especially in rural areas where information may not be reaching everyone. Citizens Advice is encouraging local communities to share details about the Heating Bank to ensure those eligible can access the support they require.

Further information is available on the Citizens Advice Cheshire West website, where residents can find resources and links to apply for assistance.
If you have any questions or need more details about this support, please reach out directly to the Citizens Advice team.
Collaboration within the community is vital to ensure that no household is left without the help they need during challenging times.
