FLINT MALE VOICE CHOIR are performing in Tarvin.

St Andrew's Church will be the venue for a concert by the internationally renowned Flint Male Voice Choir,

on SATURDAY 8th April at 7.00 p.m.

The choir was formed in 1975 in Flintshire, initially from miners and steel workers, and has travelled all over Europe,in Germany, France, Austria Ireland and Malta as well as the length and breadth of the UK.

Its repertoire includes a wide variety of music, as you would expect from a Welsh Choir, stretching from the 16th century to the 21st, with old favourites, Welsh hymns and folk songs, plus modern pop and quality contemporary compositions.

Over the years there have been many International successes,with a third place at the LlangollenInternational, twice winners of the national Eisteddford, as well as winning the North Wales Choral Festival, the Freckleton Festival, and the Powys Eisteddford.

Flint Male Voice Choir are the only choir to have represented Wales four times at the Interceltic Festival in Brittany, and repeated appearances at the Strade De France in Paris and Nantes.

The concert will also feature a local female soloist.

Saturday 8th April will be an evening to remember, so please come along and give our Welsh neighbours a rousing Tarvin welcome.
