Flower Arranging Day

Friday 3rd May is flower arranging day. Around the country flower clubs are doing something with flowers to show the general public.

Our village club have, over the years, arranged flowers in shops, made headdresses for carnival queens, left bouquets of flowers on benches for people to pick up plus various other ideas.

This year we decided to give a basket of flowers to people in the village who were around the age of 100 years. Our oldest recipient was delighted when she saw hers as she is a great flower lover.
