At Tarvin Methodist Church, we made the decision that a return to what had been our greatly-treasured and very much-missed, "normal" routine would be done by taking only one step each time and making sure that all is well before then taking the next step. Thus, it is that we are now having Sunday services (with hymns sung during the service and coffee enjoyed thereafter!), Saturday coffee mornings and Thursday 'Knit and Natter' sessions. Our next step is surely to hold a sale in parallel with our Saturday Coffee morning!

So, the decision has been made! Next Saturday, 11th September 2021, there will be a genuine BARGAIN BOOK BONANZA at TMC! Over the course of the pandemic, we have all re-discovered the joys of reading good books and have had the opportunity to get through far more of them than might otherwise have been the case. Now, what we all need is the opportunity to exchange those we've read for others that are just waiting to be enjoyed. And how much better could the experience be? There'll be a huge range of books waiting to be browsed, right in the middle of our village, with cakes and hot drinks to be enjoyed while we do so! So, come along to Tarvin Methodist Church between 10am and 12.00 noon on Saturday next and set yourselves up with the books that will take you past Christmas and through the dark, winter months – all at truly bargain prices!

(We'll be setting up for the book sale during the Knot & Natter session on Thursday afternoon – 9th September – between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. If you wish to drop some books in for the sale, please drop them into Chapel then. Alternatively, please phone us on 01829 741172.)
