Green Bin Collection

One of Cheshire West and Chester Council's budget cuts, agreed last year but not due to come into effect until 2015, is the suspension of the green bin waste collection between November 2015 and February 2016 inclusive.

Obviously during this period households will continue to generate green waste, but to date there is no indication of how we are expected to deal with it!

One idea might be to organise some sort of local collection, perhaps involving the Parish Council or a team of volunteers. If anyone has any suggestions or proposals, please let me know — you can contact me on lushfamily2@tiscali.co.uk
