On Sunday 5th October a traditional Harvest Festival Service was held at the TARVIN METHODIST CHURCH.
The service was led by the Reverend CLAIRE RAWLINSON who became the minister of the TMC in September this year.
The church was beautifully decorated with fruit and foliage and enhanced by many gifts of tinned and dried food to be used by the Food Bank (see accompanying photos – click to enlarge).
A large congregation enjoyed the very joyful and entertaining service of worship made complete by the singing of many well-known hymns. After the service the happy atmosphere continued in the sharing of a harvest lunch.
A truly wonderful day of worship and friendship was enjoyed by all who attended.
