The Crime and Policing Commissioner, John Dwyer, will soon be bidding for extra funding from the latest round of the government's Safer Streets Fund and hopes to carry out a project to tackle anti- social behaviour (ASB) in each of Cheshire's four Local Authority areas.
The latest statistics from Cheshire Constabulary will be used to inform the bid, alongside feedback from residents across the county via a survey, which can be taken HERE
Police and Crime Commissioner, John Dwyer said:"ASB might often be referred to as 'low level' but when it is persistent it can damage the way we feel about our community, and the people involved can become involved in more serious crime further down the line.
"I want residents' views on how we can make the most effective use of additional funding to tackle ASB in their area. By sharing your views and working together we can make Cheshire even safer, so please have your say."
The Cheshire ASB survey will close at midday on Friday 4 August.
Ed: Apologies for the short notice to complete the ASB survey but TOL has only just receivedthis information.
