Healthwatch Needs Your Help

Healthwatch Cheshire West is taking part in a special inquiry to find out what happens when people are discharged from a hospital, care home or secure mental health setting.

We want to understand the experiences of people with mental health conditions and older people who are discharged following treatment.

Healthwatch Cheshire West is running a number of focus groups for residents of West Cheshire. If you, a loved one, or someone you know, have been discharged from hospital, a care home or secure mental health setting in the past 18 months and would like to share your experience, we would love to meet you at one of the following focus groups.

If you have experience of or care for someone with a mental health condition, we will be running focus groups (click here) for you on the following days:

1. Monday 30th June, between 10.00am and 12.00pm at Quaker Meeting House Chester, Frodsham Street, Chester, CH1 3LF

2. Tuesday 1st July, between 11.00am and 1.00pm at Cheshire Centre for Independent Living, Sension House, Denton Drive, Northwich, CW9 7LU.

If you are an older person, a carer or family member we will be running focus groups (click here) for you on the following days:

1. Monday 30th June between 1.00pm and 3.00pm at Quaker Meeting House Chester, Frodsham Street, Chester, CH1 3LF

2.Tuesday 1st July, between 2.00pm and 4.00pm at Cheshire Centre for Independent Living, Sension House, Denton Drive, Northwich, CW9 7LU.

If you are unable to attend this meeting but would like to share your experience of having been discharged from a hospital, care home or secure mental health setting, please contact the Healthwatch team.
