Following 2 knock-out sessions at the Gunnery at the latter end of 2013, we are pleased to report that local singer/songwriter Heidi Browne has won the National OpenMicUK competition 2013.

AudlemOnline reports that 'Performing her popular song 'Girlfriend', Heidi recently wowed the judges in a packed hall at the NEC in Birmingham. The judges, who were all distinguished names in the world of music deliberated for only a few minutes before declaring Heidi the winner. Over 10,000 people entered the competition this year and AudlemOnline has followed Heidi's progress through the first few rounds.

Heidi released her second album just before Christmas and having had a sneak preview, AudlemOnline can strongly recommend it to all our readers. 'Lost in Grey' costs £8.00 and is available from her website: www.heidibrowne.co.uk'
