Help Make Willington Heart Safe

I'm leading a local project on a crowdfunding platform to purchase 2 additional defibrillators and external cabinets publicly available 24/7, located at The Boot Inn and Willington Hall.

In the last 3 years our existing defibrillator has been deployed twice. The lessons learned from our experience are:-

• It's important to have urgent access to a defibrillator meaning, to have one close by!
• In a life or certain death situation were someone is experiencing a cardiac arrest, your best friend is a defibrillator, giving the rescuer spoken instructions and guiding you through the resuscitation process.

The 2 selected locations have a high footfall.
Howeve,r presently without immediate access to a defibrillator. This project will correct that deficiency and make Willington a safer place to live and to visit.
