The Parish Council has received a number of written concerns about the proposed development of approximately 44 houses on the land between Townfield Lane and the A54. These have been acknowledged by the Clerk, but at this stage have not been passed on to Councillors. Until a formal planning application has been received the Parish Council has no policy on the development other that the current one which states that the land should stay as Green Belt.

The proposals for possibly two new housing developments have caused a great deal of discussion in the Parish. If and when formal planning applications are received then the public will have an opportunity to make their views known. Not only will the public be invited to the Parish Council meeting but they will have an opportunity to comment directly to Cheshire West and Chester Council. As always, please note that many individual comments count more than one comment signed by many people.

It is the Parish Council's duty to reflect the views of residents to the planning authority. They hope that should planning applications be received as many comments as possible, both from people who object and approve, will be made so that an accurate and balanced opinion can be forwarded on the community's behalf.
