During the Open Forum of the Parish Council meeting held on 25th March two members of the fundraising team for the new Kelsall Wellbeing Hub gave Parish Councillors a briefing on progress, together with a request to consider contributing towards the cost of fitting out. The Hub is a purpose-built new building dedicated to offering people of all ages, including those in Tarvin, access to a range of support activities to enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.
The Hub's new manager will begin work on 1st April and the facility will open in the summer having been delayed by Covid and cost overruns. It is proposed to offer, sometimes working through partner groups, a full range of wellbeing support services including loneliness, dementia, living with cancer, diet, balance, Pilates and after-school.
The Parish Council will consider the funding request at a future meeting. Further details can be found at kelsallwellbeinghub.co.uk
