Site Officer

Salary: £8.21 per hour – increasing to £8.72 from April 2020 (65.68 sleep-in rate)
Benefits: Contributory healthcare plan and pension
Hours of work: 8pm – 11pm (part-time) 3 to 4 shifts per week, on a rota basis including weekends.
We require a site officer to work alongside our existing site officers, from 8pm to 11pm each evening, with additional sleep-ins when required to cover holiday and any sickness. It is envisaged that two site officers will be recruited to share the cover for the 7 shifts per week.

The Role: We are seeking a Site Officer to ensure that the accommodation provided to Save the Family residents is safe and secure through the provision of security and safety monitoring on site during the evening and through the night.
This role includes controlling access to buildings and being the first point of contact for all emergencies and carrying out Health and Safety checks.
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of safeguarding and Health and Safety with experience of managing overnight security, preferably in a residential setting and will also have experience of monitoring CCTV systems.
