M6 Planned Carriageway, Slip Road and Lane Closures

Below you can find details of planned closures on the M6 between junctions 2 and 19, for smart motorway works. These closures will take place up to October 7th. Please note – due to safety and weather restrictions, the below closures are subject to change and cancellation. The list does not include any maintenance or emergency closures that may be required.

A number of these works involve complete M6 closures and diversions taking about 45 mins before the Motorway can be re-joined. The area most likely to affect us is between J16 to 19 and times between 10pm and 6am.
