Community Wellbeing Services Offered by Healthbox CIC

You may have noticed posters inTarporley health centre for a number of events to support wellbeing, Mental health and anxiety. These are provided by Healthbox CIC, a Not for profit organisation offering welllbeing events andservicesin Cheshire and theWirral. Currently, the events local ti Tarvin are:

* Tattenhall Walking group every Wednesday at 9.30am

* Tarporley Walking group (now finished) but we are making a bench 2 bench map to encourage walking -> will keep you posted

* Brain Yoga (a quiz where no one knows the answers) Morris Dancer Kelsall 12pm every Friday

* Brain Yoga at Tattenhall First Wednesday of every month 12pm.

* Couch to 5k in Tarporley starting in Feb

* Drop in at Malpas Community Kitchen and Malpas Buzz About Baby group on Wednesday midday.

* Chatty cafe Morning in Tarporley now Tuesday 10-11am. This will be moving to a Thursday morning when the Wellbeing hub has opened

Healthbox CIC is a not-for-profit community interest company made up of a team of dedicated individuals from various backgrounds which provide health and wellbeing centred services in local communities throughout Cheshire. Their mission is to promote health and wellbeing to individuals and groups by empowering them to make healthier choices easier.

The organisation began in 2010, delivering healthy family initiatives in schools. They now have a library of services and programmes centred around all aspects of health and wellbeing, for all ages Project by project we develop partnerships with funders, commissioners and our communities to enable us to offer our programmes for free to people across Cheshire East, Cheshire West and The Wirral.
