A desperate plea. A very remote chance.

Is it possible that anyone has a photo, sketch or memory of a mill by the Gowy down Platts Lane?
One was thereabouts but no exact position.

Perhaps, if anyone has an image of any building down by the Gowy it may provide a clue as it may have been in ruins and not recognisable as a mill.

Anyone actually having seen it would be in their 70's. There maybe photo albums, etc., will be something of use. Please ask friends and neighbours who may not see this article.

Any help would make a huge difference to my research of Cheshire Archaeology.
