The Community Centre is delighted to announce that the Mobile Library Service will return on Thursday 3rd December. The van will be parked in the Car Park from 2.00pm until 4.00pm.
As only one person/household will be allowed into the Library at one time, the Committee will again be opening their Library Café in the Edna Rose Room so that people can wait in comfort, have a cup of tea or coffee and a delicious brownie. You will be asked to sanitise your hands, sign in for test and trace and wear a mask, though obviously not while eating your brownie!
Vice Chair Sue Hardacre says " We recognise that there have been few opportunities for people to meet up in the last few weeks and, though you will be asked to sit at separate tables, you will be able to enjoy some social contact. This café is not just for those using the library, anyone can come along and, if there is sufficient demand, the café will become a regular feature until normal library service can resume."
The Library will continue to offer this service in the foreseeable future though will not be coming to Tarvin on December 24th or December 31st. The mobile service will resume on Thursday January 7th 2021.
