Motorcyclist Injured in crash

Cheshire Police reported a road traffic collision between a motorcyclist and a Range Rover at 7.52am on Wednesday 7th Jan on the Austin's Hill junction of the A51 Chester to Nantwich main road.

Traffic was held up for a considerable time as the police closed the A51.

The motorcyclist suffered head injuries and was airlifted to the City General hospital in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is the very junction that the Parish Council's has raised concerns with CWaC engineers regarding its safety, and reported by Tarvinonline in October 2014. The full article is available here
