National No Smoking day

With all the emphasis on the Coronavirus outbreak at present we can forget that there are other significant health issues around.
Smoking is the biggest single preventable cause of ill-health and early death in the United Kingdom. The number of deaths from smoking is greater than the next six biggest causes of preventable death combined.
In Cheshire the Public Health Spotlight is on No Smoking Day on 11th. March 2020.The campaign began in 1984 and is now organised by the British Heart Foundation.
