News from Ashton Hayes and Tarvin Flower club

The last time the Flower club met was during summer 2020 when we visited Clotton Hall, where we met outside. Elizabeth Cooke, who is a member, kindly invited us to return this Wednesday afternoon. The weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed catching up with friends and chatting. We had our usual raffle of plant and flower arrangements and Merryn had set some guessing games to make us think.

The icing on the cake came in the form of cakes and scones with jam and Clotton clotted cream with a cup of tea. All beautifully presented and tasting as good as they looked.

Thanks to Elizabeth for providing a wonderful afternoon.

We have a garden visit planned in July and we hope to resume our jndoor meetings in September. Merryn our chairman will keep all members informed through her monthly newsletter.
