News item from Tarvin Parish Council.

At the November meeting of the Parish Council there were several contributions from the public.

Three residents outlined their concerns regarding speeding traffic. In particular on the A54 from Tarvin roundabout heading towards Chester and Willington Road leaving Oscroft towards Willington corner. Two of the residents, joined by one Councillor, expressed interest in being trained by our local PCSO in the use of a speed device. The Parish Council will discuss these issues at the next meeting on 18th December. If you have concerns about speeding in your area, please give details to the Clerk before the next meeting. e-mail to Clerk@tarvinparishcouncil.org.uk

Please note that speeding on the lower High Street and around the Primary School have been identified already so please do not contact the Clerk about those.

In addition, it is worth noting that, after many years, the Parish Council does hope to install 2 vehicle activated signs, one on Shay Lane leading into Oscroft and one on Tarporley Road leading into Tarvin village. However, these signs are unlikely to be in place much before April 2024.
