Pantomime Sold Out

Once again, the Christmas season will get off with a bang when Aladdin comes to the Community Centre at 3.00 pm on this coming Saturday. The Committee is delighted to announce that ALL tickets have been sold. There will be no admissions without a ticket, so please, please don't come along without proof of purchase.

It will be a busy day on Saturday as the Hall has to be set up between the end of Rugby Tots at noon and the doors opening at 2.30 pm. The staging will be put up – thank you Ashton Hayes Theatre Club – to ensure that all 180 people will be able to see the show. As the staging is heavy and the Committee are increasingly aged, a number of strong and willing helpers have been recruited. If there is anyone with a strong pair of arms doing nothing at noon on Saturday, then please do come along and give a hand.

This is the fourth year that Bitesize Theatre Company from Wrexham will be coming to entertain the village. This professional company works primarily in school venues and has been up and running since 1992. They devise, write and produce drama for children of all ages, and their pantomimes are firmly based on traditional stories.

After all the excitement of the Panto, the audience will join the hundreds of people who will be walking to the High Street to enjoy all the fun of the Christmas Market.
