Parish Council Grants to Local Organisations

At the meeting on 26th July, the Parish Council confirmed the recommendations of the Grants Working Party to award grants to the following groups:

Tarvin Community Woodland Trust £1,000,
2nd Tarvin Guides £925,
Tarvinonline £725,
Ashton Hayes & Tarvin Flower Club £200,
Tarvin Christmas Festival £150

Tarvin Community Centre Community of Management had told the PC that, exceptionally, it would not be making an application this year because they wished to ensure that other organisations who might have had greater need should not lose out.
