Planned Road Works on A51

Notice has been given which will on occasions at night prohibit through traffic on the A51 Duddon Road/Tarporley Road – from Willington Road to Burton Lane in Clotton to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The closure will come into force on 17th July 2019 and will be in force for a maximum of five days. It is anticipated that the work will last for approximately 5 days.

Access to properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. A through route, however, will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use alternative routes. For a diversion route, please see attached plan.
