At the October Parish Council meeting a letter was considered from a member of the public raising concerns regarding dogs running free on the King George V Playing Field and the problems they cause.
Dogs must be kept on a lead when within the field and most dog owners are responsible and keep their dogs on a lead as well as clearing up their dog's mess but sadly this is not always the case. The field is used extensively for football and there are obvious potential health consequences for participants as a result. The Parish Council is ordering additional signage reminding dog owners to act responsibly and trust that this will have the desired effect.
