The Parish Council has agreed to hold a public meeting on Wednesday 28th January to discuss in greater depth the possibility of undertaking a Neighbourhood Plan.

Experts from Cheshire Community Action will be present and it is hoped to invite a representative of Tattenhall Parish Council, who were one of the first parishes in the county to produce such a plan. Their Neighbourhood Plan is now recognised as an approved planning document and must be taken into account when planning decisions are taken.
To ensure that all members of the public have the opportunity to come along, a leaflet will be produced and delivered to all households in the New Year.
The Parish Council hope that the meeting will achieve a number of objectives.

The Parish Council must be a part of such a Plan, but do not have the resources to do it on their own. They have already received support from the Tarvin Civic Trust and sincerely hope there are other individuals or organisations that will step forward for without this support a Neighbourhood Plan cannot be achieved.
