To celebrate the centenary year of the Royal Air Force, Tarvin Methodist Church are delighted to announce their plans to hold a commemorative Church service on Sunday 29th April 2018.
It is hoped that this service will give the public, local civic dignitaries, veterans and serving members of the military and air cadet forces an opportunity to jointly celebrate the achievements of the world's first independent Air Force.
A memory board is on view inside the church for anyone wishing to display photos, along with name, rank and date line of any friends or family members who served or are serving in the RAF.
The service led by the Rev Sue Levitt will begin at 11am.
We offer a warm welcome to anyone who would like to attend this service of thanksgiving and commemoration followed by an informal reception with refreshments in the fellowship room at the Church.
