Position: Full time Agriculture InstructorEmployer: Reaseheath College, Nantwich
Hours: 37 hours
Benefits / Salary: £21,649 — £23,646

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a practical instructor to join the Academy of Land and Environment agricultural department.

You will be expected to undertake practical teaching associated with academy requirements including working within our well- established agriculture department. The role may include working across the full academy including our horticulture and countryside provision. You will plan and prepare resources for teaching and ensure work areas, tools and equipment are stored and maintained correctly. Land Based practical experience especially estate maintenance is a pre-requisite of this role as you will work in a busy curriculum academy supporting students, staff and liaising with all customers and stakeholders.

You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to plan, prioritise and manage your workload efficiently and effectively. Excellent IT, teamwork, and communication skills as well as attention to detail are a pre-requisite for this position. As a member of the academy you will consistently role model the college PRIDE values, ensuring that high standards and excellent customer service are evidenced at all times. There will be a requirement to utilise the college farm and wider estate effectively to enhance student engagement, practical skill development and satisfaction. You will also undertake assessments other related activities which contributes towards the high quality, effective and relevant learning experience expected by our students. As a member of the academy team, you will support commercial income generation as required and to work flexibly to support the business and this may involve some evening and weekend work.

The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a lecturer to join the Academy of Land and Environment Agriculture department.

You will be expected to undertake theory and specialist practical teaching associated with academy requirements including working within our established agriculture department. The role may include working across the full academy including our agriculture, horticulture and countryside provision. A broad knowledge of agriculture is required with a specialist focus on crop and livestock production systems and agricultural business management.

A requirement of the role is to support the quality of provision and work with the college quality department and both internal and external verifiers to ensure full compliance with awarding body regulations. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to plan, prioritise and manage your workload efficiently and effectively. Excellent IT, teamwork and communication skills as well as attention to detail is needed for this position.

As a member of the academy, you will consistently role model the college PRIDE values, ensuring that high standards and excellent customer service are evidenced at all times. There will be a requirement to undertake other related activities which contributes towards the high quality, effective and relevant learning experience expected by all academy students. Other aspects of the role include designing and marketing courses, student recruitment and commercial income generation. Position: Full time Agriculture Lecturer/Course Manager
Employer: Reaseheath College, Nantwich
Hours: 37 hours
Benefits / Salary: £25,331 — £28,925

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a lecturer/course manager to join the Academy of Land and Environment on a full time permanent basis.

You will be expected to undertake theory and specialist practical teaching associated with academy requirements including working within our established agricultural department. The role may include working across the full academy including our horticulture and countryside provision. A specialist knowledge of the principles of agricultural machinery operation and maintenance as well as health and safety is a pre-requisite of this role.

As a lecturer/course manager you will manage all aspects of a student group including monitoring academic progress, encouraging achievement and support pastoral care. You will have high expectations of your student group. You will deliver teaching to a range of students to support subject comprehension and will use a variety of assessment methods to accurately monitor and track student progress and performance.
